Together for Clacton
Forward with Fard
A number of residents in Clacton have asked me to stand as an independent candidate and I am very humbled to serve them at the upcoming by-election. Residents were anguished by the prospects of having a by-election that does not provide them with the strong representation at Westminster that they truly deserve.
I am humbled to stand to be that voice.
Join me and help me expand our reach so that every resident in Clacton feels heard.
Below you can see my values and visions for Clacton

Better infrustructure
Many have told me how the lack of proper bus services is impacting daily lives and also local businesses. Clacton needs to be mobile. I will champion better infrastructure and transport for Clacton.
I believe any development requires investment in proper infrastructure for communities; residents need access to new shops, schools, GPs, job opportunities. We need adequate housing with appropriate infrastructure.

Safety and Security
As someone who has for years represented victims of domestic abuse and also championed safety for women and girls through national campaigns and representations to ministers, and as a woman who has personally experienced harassment, I will be a strong voice to improve presence of policing and community safety for all.
Developers need to invest in proper lighting for new developments. I have also for years championed increased use of CCTV cameras especially in areas where crime rates are higher.
Everyone deserves to live in a safe environment and thrive.
TRANSFORM OUR ROADS
Roads with potholes usually require resurfacing rather than temporary patch work. At times Councils struggle with funding for road maintenance because central government's funding formula does not make sense. Sign my petition to help us raise more funds for Clacton and other busy parts of the UK as the funding formula for road maintenance is per mileage rather than usage. For example, Northumberland receives 3 times more
than Essex per vehicle per mile. This does not make sense. Let’s bring back sensible policies. If we get 10,000 signatures, the government has a duty to respond.

Access to Opportunity for All
Every child deserves access to opportunity. Residents have told me Clacton struggles with youth unemployment due to years of under-investment and proper planning. The government needs to do more to invest in Clacton and create jobs and internship opportunities. Councils need to reduce their rents and the government needs to reduce its business rates and taxes to get Clacton thriving again.
Adults and children with special needs also require support to ensure they flourish and can contribute to their community.
We need to get Clacton working for everyone.

Strong borders
We need to stop the boats and ensure those who come to the UK legally go through proper national security checks to identify those who are a risk to our national security. We need sensible plans though to do so.
Anyone who comes to the UK should be first vetted before entering.
We need to improve our national security measures when it comes to immigration. As someone with expertise in law, I know our system is not strong enough when it comes to background checks on individuals.

Support Businesses
We need to ensure Clacton thrives economically. As a small business owner, I understand what it means to have to pay higher taxes, rents, rates and how it impacts lives. Small to medium businesses are the backbone of any local community and need support to create jobs and help the local economy.
I will work closely with the businesses to come up with sensible solutions that work for Clacton.

PROTECT THE VULNERABLE
Life circumstances, including disability and other incidents outside of our control, may place us in vulnerable positions. It is at such times that proper support from central government and charities can help bring people back on their feet and help them thrive once again. Whilst I champion hard work and aspiration, I also back our vulnerable residents who deserve to live with dignity and receive a helping hand to help them live a fulfilling life.

Protect our values and rights
We need to protect British values, and tackle two-tier policies at all levels whilst celebrating our differences.
For years I campaigned to ban a hostile entity known as the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran. I was pleased that the government finally banned them on 13.07.2026 and made their support a criminal offence. They had undertaken targeted terrorist attacks and also are behind some cyber-attacks in the UK, targeting our infrastructure, air force and even universities. Their mission is to export their own values and create fear and division in our communities. I will hold the government to account ensuring they allocate adequate resources to the police and anti-terrorist units to keep us all safe.
Right to private life, right to education, right to freedom of speech balanced with national security are inherent in our lives and British values.
Empower
Growth in farming
We need to ensure we have food security and back our farmers. Any policies that will push the farmers away from this crucial profession need to be revisited by the government.
We need to back those who keep us alive and healthy.

Energy Security and Defence
At a time when hostile states use energy as a bargaining chip, we need to ensure that we have adequate energy resources at our disposal so that in times of crisis our residents will not be left without petrol, electricity, gas or even water. It is important that we ensure we have energy and water security.
Our defence also needs adequate investment to ensure we are ready to defend the country in case of any unforeseen hostile state attacks.
